Sundia has taken the watermelon industry by storm. Unprecedented market share growth, reaching close to 30% in two years, has propelled the company to become largest and fastest growing watermelon brand in the world. The Sundia Brand is dominating retailers across the US, and the Sundia management expects to reach 50% market share by the end of 2006.
But Sundia did not get here alone. We got here by partnering with the growers, shippers and distributors, and sharing benefits with them along the way.
By aggregating under one brand, Sundia is able to provide national advertising, co-promotions, product give-away, and purchasing power to the growers.
Sundia has successfully achieved media coverage in several nationally distributed magazines like Self and Elle, and the list is growing. As published in Business 2.0 – “Sunkist did it for oranges, Pom Wonderful for pomegranates. Now, San Francisco-based startup Sundia is branding the watermelon.”
Sundia has two product lines: Sundia Juice and Sundia Watermelons. Within these two categories, the Sundia brand is on four juice lines; Watermelon, Watermelon Pomegranate, Watermelon Blackberry, and Watermelon Limonade and three fresh melon categories; seeded, seedless, and mini.
The benefits of Sundia are still growing. Consumers, retailers, distributors and growers all gain under the umbrella brand. We are pleased to be a leading a new era in the watermelon industry.
If you are a grower, shipper, or wholesaler interested in partnering with Sundia, please contact our National Brand Manager - Produce, Steven Fore steven@sundiacorp.com.
Success story of Sundia growers (a list that will grow as we have more partners doing great things for the company)
Since Leger and Sons joined Sundia, they have been an ideal partner. Leger has helped Sundia to get an audience with several retailers for the juice line. This has helped to get Sundia juice on the shelves at the same retail stores where Leger is shipping his watermelon. Why would they do this? Two main reasons, one it is essential that we are in the same retail stores as our fresh watermelon partners for promotions, and two it is essential for the success of the company. What is good for Sundia is good for its partners, and many of the Sundia partners, like Leger and Sons, are shareholders or part owners of Sundia Corporation.
